Digital divide is a socio-economic situation whereby there is an unequal access to contemporary ICT for obtaining and leveraging on information/knowledge within a society. This is basically due to one or more of the following factors of accessibility, IT literacy, lack of content and affordability. These might be attributed to geographical conditions, socio-economic status and priorities of the government .
